Instagram is closing down their old username API, you will need to reconnect any Instagram username tokens you have on your Connected Social Accounts page. Here is what you should know and how to get that configured.
If you have Instagram username sources, they are currently still connected to the legacy API, which will be shutting down soon. Juicer has connected our software to the latest Instagram username API so that you can continue displaying posts from your Instagram username sources.
To connect to the new API, you must re-establish any Instagram tokens you have on your "Connected Social Accounts" page:
- Go to Instagram.com and log out ALL Instagram accounts. (this is critical so that you don't connect the wrong Instagram account. Please note: If you are entering multiple Instagram connections to Juicer, you must log out of Instagram again after each successful addition.)
- Go to juicer.io/social-accounts, clicking the + icon under the header "Instagram (usernames, new API)", and entering the login details for your various Instagram source accounts. When you're finished, you should have the same accounts listed under both the "Legacy API" header and the "New API" header.
- After your refresh occurs (based on your plan), your Instagram sources in your social feed should pull in your latest posts as they usually do.
