AI feeds: design your Juicer feed by describing it

Pick an AI design from the gallery or describe the feed you want, and AI builds it with your posts. Refine it in a chat and save to publish.

Written by Mario T.

AI feeds let you design your Juicer feed by describing it. Pick a ready-made AI design from the gallery, or tell the AI what you want (layout, colors, motion, which posts to show) and it builds the feed from scratch with your real posts. You keep refining it in a chat until it looks right, and nothing changes on your website until you save.

👑 AI feeds are a premium feature. The gallery designs and the AI chat are available on all paid plans, and you can try them free during your trial. See the pricing page to compare plans.

What you can do with AI feeds

  • Start from a gallery design built for a use case, such as Live Event Wall, Bento Mosaic, Reviews, Restaurant Menu, Sports, Social Globe or seasonal designs like Happy Halloween

  • Describe your own design and let the AI build it with your posts

  • Match your brand by asking for your brand colors, fonts and spacing

  • Add motion such as scrolling rows, carousels or a rotating globe

  • Choose which posts show, for example only posts with photos or only one source

  • Go back to any earlier version of your design

AI feeds are in beta, so you'll see a Beta label next to them in the editor.

Start an AI feed

Open your feed in the editor. You can start an AI feed in three ways.

  1. Click Try AI feeds at the top of the editor (it shows on feeds that aren't AI feeds yet). This opens the AI designs tab of the Templates panel.

  2. Or click Design in the bottom toolbar, then Start with AI in the banner at the top of the panel.

  3. Or open the Templates panel and switch to the AI designs tab yourself.

In the AI designs tab, click any design card. Your feed's draft switches to that design and the editor opens the chat, so you can adjust it right away.

Build your own design

Click the Your own design card (or Start with AI). The chat opens with an empty design. Describe the feed you want, for example "a calm photo grid in our brand colors", and press Enter. A new design takes a few minutes to build, and the preview updates when it's ready.

Dress up your feed for a holiday or event

Because an AI design takes minutes instead of a redesign project, you can give your feed a seasonal look for a few weeks and switch it back afterwards. Around a holiday, its seasonal designs appear first in the AI designs tab (for Halloween, that's After Dark and Happy Halloween), so a themed feed is one click away.

A few ideas.

  • Holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Lunar New Year or Pride Month, in colors and decorations that match the season

  • Campaigns and sales such as Black Friday, a product launch or a hashtag contest, with your campaign hashtag at the top

  • School and campus moments like welcome week, homecoming, graduation, an open day or a giving day

  • Donation drives and fundraisers, with your goal and a donate link at the top, then back to your usual look when the drive ends

  • Events such as a conference, a festival or a big game, shown on a screen at the venue and on your website at the same time

You can prepare the seasonal look ahead of time. Changes stay a draft until you click Save, so your website doesn't change until you're ready. When the holiday or event is over, switch back in a couple of clicks. Click Restore next to your earlier version in the chat (or pick a standard template, see below) and click Save. Your seasonal design stays in your versions, ready for next year.

Refine your design in the chat

The Design with AI chat sits on the left of the editor, next to the live preview. Type a change and press Enter to send it, for example "use our brand colors #0B3D2E and #F2C14E" or "show three posts per row on desktop". Each change takes a moment, and the preview updates when the AI is done.

A few tips for good results.

  • Ask for one change at a time, so it's easy to see what changed.

  • Be specific about colors (hex codes work best), sizes and where things should go.

  • If a change fails, the chat tells you. Click Ask AI to fix it or send the message again.

Go back to an earlier version

Every change the AI makes is saved as a new version. In the chat, each reply shows the version it made, and you can click Restore next to an earlier one to go back to it. Once your feed has more than one version, the Versions menu in the bottom toolbar lists them too.

Publish your AI feed

Changes in the chat stay a draft. Your website keeps showing the old design until you click Save. After you save, the new design appears everywhere your feed is shown, both on your website (with the same embed code, so there's nothing to reinstall) and on your feed's hub page. If you don't have a website, see No website? Share your Juicer feed with its hub page.

Sources, filtering and moderation work the same way as in any other feed. See How to moderate and filter your Juicer feed for details.

Switch back to a standard layout

Click Design in the bottom toolbar and pick a Grid, Slider, List or Premium Themes template, then click Save. Your AI designs aren't deleted. To use a gallery design again, click its card in the AI designs tab. To bring back a design you built in the chat, click Your own design, then click Restore next to the version you want.

Good to know

  • AI credits. The chat comes with a set amount of AI credits. When you've used them, you'll see "You've used your AI credits". Your designs and versions stay as they are, and you can contact us for more.

  • Settings and CTA. An AI feed's look comes from its design, so the editor hides the Settings and CTA panels. Ask for these changes in the chat instead.

  • Free plan. If your plan doesn't include AI feeds, the AI designs show an Unlock button, and your feed shows the standard layout on your website.

⚠️ Accessibility. We aim for accessible AI designs, but each one is unique to your feed, so it isn't audited for WCAG 2.2 AA like our standard layouts. If your website must comply, check your AI design before you publish it.

Troubleshooting

  • I don't see Try AI feeds
Open the Templates panel from Design and look for the AI designs tab. If it isn't there either, your account may not have AI feeds turned on, so get in touch with us.

  • "The AI is still working on your last message"
The AI handles one change at a time per feed. Wait for the current change to finish, then send the next one.

  • "This change didn't finish. Send it again to retry."
The change was interrupted. Send the same message again.

  • My website still shows the old design
Click Save in the editor. Chat changes stay a draft until you do.

If the AI keeps getting a change wrong or your design doesn't show on your website, contact us with your feed name, the message you sent in the chat and the page where the feed is embedded, and we'll take a look.
