Blocking posts from specific users

How to block users, keywords, or hashtags from appearing in your Juicer feed.

Written by Mario T.

Unwanted users sometimes hijack a hashtag with off-topic or inappropriate posts. You can block them, along with any keyword, @username, or #hashtag, from your feed in a few clicks.

Block posts by user, keyword, or hashtag

  1. Open your feed in the Juicer dashboard.

  2. In the bottom bar, click Moderation to enter moderation mode.

  3. Click the Filtering icon to open the Content Filtering panel.

  4. In Disallow posts with these words, list what you want to block (words, @usernames, or #hashtags) separated by commas. Filters are case-insensitive.

  5. Click Apply filters.

Choose what happens to existing posts

After you click Apply filters, Juicer asks whether to apply the change to posts already in your feed.

  • Yes, apply to existing posts. Matching posts move to the Moderation queue tab, where you can restore or permanently delete them later.

  • No, only future posts. Existing posts stay, and only new posts are filtered going forward.

If a user keeps slipping past your filters, or a post isn't being blocked the way you expect, contact us with the feed name and a sample post URL and we'll take a look.
