Yes — to keep your feed updating, you need to connect your Instagram or Facebook account to Juicer. The unconnected preview you see during setup is a one-time snapshot to help you visualize how your feed will look. It stops refreshing soon after.
Why the connection is required
API access. Instagram and Facebook only allow third-party tools to fetch content on behalf of a connected account. Without that authorization, Juicer can't make the requests.
Ongoing refreshes. The preview is a snapshot. A connected account lets Juicer pull new posts on schedule without manual intervention.
Correct profiles and Pages. Connecting confirms which exact account or Page Juicer should read from, avoiding mismatches or missing content.
Platform compliance. Authenticated connections satisfy Meta's policy and rate-limit rules, keeping your feed stable over time.
How to connect
Open Connected Social Accounts and click the + button next to Instagram or Facebook. The full walkthrough lives in the platform-specific articles for Instagram sources and Facebook sources.
If the preview shows posts but they stop updating after a day or two, or if you connect and the feed still won't refresh, send us the feed URL and the Instagram or Facebook username you're trying to use through contact us.
