Why you may see errors or a question mark as the image for Facebook sources

Remove Facebook page restrictions to let Juicer display your content correctly.

Written by Mario T.

Most common cause

Age or country restrictions on your Facebook Page prevent Juicer from accessing the Page's content and profile image via the Graph API. When the image can't load, the browser falls back to a question mark icon in place of the Page's profile picture, and you may also see errors when adding or syncing the source.

Fix it

  1. Turn off Page restrictions. On Facebook, open your Page settings and remove any age or country restrictions. Once they're off, Juicer can add the Page as a source and fetch posts and images.

  2. Confirm Page admin access. Go to your Juicer Connected Social Accounts and make sure the Facebook account you have connected is an admin of the Page you're displaying. Non-admin access can cause intermittent fetch failures.

  3. Check the Page's vanity URL. If the URL has changed, the old source will no longer match the Page. Remove the old Facebook source from your Sources panel and add it again using the current URL.

If restrictions are off, the connected account is an admin, and the vanity URL is correct, contact us with the Page URL and a screenshot of your Facebook Page settings, and we'll take a look.
