Giphy sources – Adding and troubleshooting

Connect a Giphy search query to pull GIFs into your Juicer feed.

Updated over a month ago

Overview

You can add a Giphy search query as a source in your Juicer feed. Juicer will import the first 50 GIFs that match your search term (e.g., “electronic” pulls from giphy.com/search/electronic).

Prerequisites

  • A clear search term (single word or short phrase)

  • A Juicer feed with available source slots based on your plan

Add a Giphy Source

  1. Open your Juicer feed and add a new source.

  2. Select Giphy.

  3. Enter your search term (e.g., electronic, meme, brand name).

  4. Save. Juicer will pull the first 50 matching GIFs and display them in your feed.

How updates work

  • Giphy sources import a static set of the first 50 matching GIFs when added.

  • To refresh with different GIFs, edit the source and re-save the search term (or add a new Giphy source).

Troubleshooting

  • No results: Try a broader term or check spelling.

  • Too many irrelevant GIFs: Use a more specific phrase (e.g., “electronic music” vs. “electronic”).

  • Duplicate content: Remove the source and add it again to refresh the 50-GIF set.

  • Not loading: Confirm your plan allows additional sources and that your feed is active.

Notes

  • Giphy searches are case-insensitive.

  • Animated GIFs and stickers may appear depending on Giphy’s search results.

  • Giphy results and ordering are determined by Giphy’s search; Juicer displays the first 50 returned items.
